Our May Meetup will be on the third Sunday (May 17th) this month. (I messed up and thought it was on Mother's Day) It will be too warm for racing but it should be perfect weather for lounging around and letting our whippets entertain each other!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in May.

By the way, this will probably be our last Meetup before summer and we will try to start up again in September. There may be a few get togethers scheduled elsewhere? Especially if anyone has any ideas. It's just too hot in the pasture at the farm in the summer for a Meetup.

NOTICE: Don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead Saturday night for the time change! We are going to set up the racing equipment again for the March Meetup. If you are interested in racing, please come at 10 am to help set up and run a few straight line races. We have everything needed, muzzles for whippets (not greyhounds), etc. But it is important all members enter the pasture with your dogs secured and on lead. Use a collar that snaps off the lead so your dog can be retrieved after running. If you don't want to race come around 11 am. We will let all the dogs run around and play as usual after the racing is done. If you just want to watch the racing, we will probably be wrapping things up shortly after 11, so you can observe then. But please remember to have your dogs on lead when you enter the pasture and do not let them off lead until after the racing has concluded! Looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday.
